How We Use Information

• To provide and improve unime services
• To verify eligible users and keep university spaces safe
• To maintain security, prevent abuse, and enforce platform policies
• To send essential account and verification notifications

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with service providers that support core platform functions (such as hosting, notifications, and email delivery), under appropriate protections.

Data Retention

We retain data only as long as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account directly in the app:

• Profile → Edit Profile → Delete my account
• Confirm the warning message
• Enter your password to complete deletion

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

What Is Deleted

• Your account profile data and authentication/session data
• Verification and device notification token records linked to your account
• Content and related records associated with your account, based on our database deletion rules

Deletion Timing And Exceptions

Deletion is processed when confirmed in-app. Some limited records may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or compliance purposes.

Examples may include security logs, fraud or abuse prevention records, and records required by applicable law.

Your Choices

• You can request account updates and corrections
• You can permanently delete your account in-app at any time
